International week

Monday

Introduction to the study week with Jette, presentations, games for getting to know each
other

Language and identity: dancing line dances
Body language: work in groups
My first danish lesson: with Danish students

evening at the college- eating together, singing songs

Tuesday

Intercultural competence and stereotypes
Rhymes and songs
– learning and teaching potential, with Karen
Excursion to Ribe
: the Vikings and the old Town of Ribe
(making easter bread for international day, watching movie)

Wednesday

school visits at local schools in groups with tutors
Reflections
on the school experience

Thursday

Guest teacher-Vienna soundscape and fairytales
Festsalen
: International afternoon (introduction Erasmus programme…)
Music evening at college
: Friday Café + eating pizza + “Eurovision song contest”+ dancing and drinking in Crazy Daisy...It was really amazing evening, we (Kate,Iva and me) won
Eurovision song contest, we were singing, dancing, chating and smil

ing through the whole night...


Friday
Work on portfolio,works on our weblogs:experience form the school visits, the seminars and the social programme...
Presentations of our work and discussions of intercultural competence and language and culture
prepare light lunch
farewell lunch

In the evening we were expecting big visit. My boyfriend Otík and Iva's sister Petra came on time. They had to ride out a long travel through Germany.But then It was something like Christmas Eve, we said. Our home-folks came and they brought a lot of things from our country-some news, food, drinks, presents...All made me feel really happy.

Saturday
We took a walk through town and we had a rest after that.

Sunday
We went to sea to eastern shore. We walked along seaside. After we left to Christiansfeld for little snack in local café. We tasted gingerbread also.
