WEEK 8

Monday was the beginning of the new week full of adventure. In the morning we had lessons of the Danish education and Danish history. In the afternoon we visited gym for our next hard exercises and in the evening I watched a movie and had a rest.

On Tuesday we were planning our visit to Danish school for the next week with our teacher Torbjorn. In the afternoon we met another German students Finja and Borries, who are studying for 2 weeks in Haderslev. Then we had another danish lessons. We tried to learn how to say „how are you?“ „I’m fain“ and so on. We learnt some new verbs as well. In the afternoon I worked on my thesis. It will still take some more time.

Like every Wednesday it was an art day again. Dorthe, nice teacher, took us to the world full of colours and impressions. Mirrors and portraits was the name of our morning lesson. We were painting faces of each other and ourselves. We painted them on the papers on mirrors. I suppose everyone was excited and we could keep our work. In the afternoon we had a big objective, we had to cook some of our delicious national meal. I prepared potatoes pancakes, Iva cooked fruit-staffed dumplings and Kate prepared Czech potatoes soup. The others had their specialties too. It was a really nice banquet and then we went shopping with the full bellies. It was smart idea, because we didn’t buy that muchJ

On Thursday I slept for long, I was really tired. Our lessons started in the afternoon, so it was just a strain. We had an interesting presentation in powerpoint by Thosten Piske. It was called Bilinqual Language Acquisition. In the afternoon we wanted to have a rest for a while, because of the great evening in the Crazy Daisy. It’s disco club in the centre of Haderslev and it’s charge free on Thursday onlyJ We spent there only 2 hours but I think It was such a different way how we could enjoy our leisure time just for a once time.

On Friday we were a little bit tired because of our staying in Crazy Daisy, but we had history lesson in the morning, so we went to the school, but for 2 and half hours only. In the afternoon me, Kate and Iva, we went to the shops to find some surprises for our honourees (Charlotte, Daniel and Tim) for the Saturday birthday party. And then I spent the whole afternoon in bed, because I felt sick and really tired.

In the Saturday morning I went to the gym where I met Kate. And in the afternoon Iva, Kate and me, we were cooking our puddings for honourees and we packed our gifts, inflated little balloons..and so on. The birthday party started at 7 p.m. and it was reaaaaaly great celebration. Daniel, Charlotte and Tim prepared amazing dinner for us. It was tomatoe soup with cream and baguettes, after pasta with vegetables and cheese, the main dish was meat balls with rice and slice of squash with feta cheese and olives, almonds, tomatoes…it was delicious, mmm. Like desert cake made by Daniel for Charlotte, and some cookies and chocolate mouse…really exquisite. For drink just wine. We enjoyed our time together very much.

On Sunday all of us slept for very long time. Daniel, Iva, Kate and me, we left to
the Haderslev dam at 1p.m. and we had a nice walk which took 2 hours. Finja joined us. In
the evening we worked on our projects for music class. It was really

funny. And I worked on my weblogs.

See you… Have a nice week.

It was really long journey, it took about 15 hours. It was hard, particularly with very heavy luggage. The first surprise came...our buddy Thora thought we arrive at 6.30 p.m. but we came at 6.30 a.m...ough. but in the end everything was alright.
